"MAPAQ constantly monitors avian influenza at the provincial, national and international levels, including H5 and H7 subtypes. The RAIZO avian network monitors any abnormal situation that could arise in poultry farms. The Ministry's surveillance activities are accompanied by the dissemination of information and recommendations aimed at increasing vigilance and biosecurity on farms when the situation warrants. Surveillance in wild birds is carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks and the Quebec Center for the Health of Wild Animals."
