The Centre of Expertise and Clinical Research in Animal Health and Welfare based out of the University of Montreal Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is currently in the early stages of development. The unit will consist of various faculty members in the department of veterinary medicine. At present what species  topics/problems the unit will investigate has yet to be determined. It has also yet to be determined how and who will be able to contact the unit in order to start an investigation.
