The rules for dispensing medically important antimicrobials (MIAs) are changing to better protect animal and human health. On December 1, 2018, all MIAs will be available by prescription only. As a veterinarian, you can do your part by using antimicrobials responsibly to ensure they are effective in the fight against disease, now and in the future.
