The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) monthly summary of rabies
cases for May 2024 has confirmed five cases of rabies: One case in an arctic fox from Manitoba, one case in a bat from Saskatchewan and two cases in bats from Ontario, and one case in a skunk from Manitoba.
