The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has confirmed the presence of Perkinsus marinus (Dermo) in American oysters (Crassostrea virginica) in one location in Nova Scotia on May 27, 2025, and in one location in Newfoundland on May 29, 2025.
