Equine influenza has been confirmed in Région Gatineau, Quebec. On November 1, 2024, a 3 year old gelding presented with nasal discharge, mild fever, and cough. Equine influenza was confirmed on November 7, 2024. The horse is recovering. The horse's vaccination status is unknown. There are 5 additional suspected cases.
